Arizona Cardinals vs. Carolina Panthers: Live Score and Analysis for Arizona
There is only so much a team can do with a third-string quarterback and myriad other positions ravaged by injury. Winning a playoff game was clearly off the table.
The Arizona Cardinals' season came to an ugly end on Saturday as the Carolina Panthers used the ground game on offense and a relentless front seven on defense to pound the hapless Cardinals, 27-16.
Arizona's offense set an NFL record in the loss, gaining the fewest yards from scrimmage (77) in the history of the NFL playoffs. If that's not an indication of how the night went, then nothing is. It's only because of two Panthers turnovers that the Cardinals held a 14-13 lead at halftime. They were out-played from start to finish.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ryan Lindley completed 16 of 28 passes (57.1 percent) for just 81 yards, a touchdown and an interception for a 44.3 passer rating. Running back Kerwynn Williams carried 10 times for 23 yards (2.3 yards per carry). Larry Fitzgerald, in what could be his final game in a Cardinals uniform, had three receptions for 31 yards (10.3 yards per catch).
It was a heck of a ride, Cardinals fans. Hopefully, the 2015 season will treat the team better and allow more key players to remain healthy.
