Laremy Tunsil Injury: Updates on Ole Miss Star's Leg and Recovery
Wednesday's Peach Bowl went from bad to worse for Ole Miss, as star offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil went down with an ugly leg injury in the second quarter.
The true sophomore got rolled up underneath the pile, and as Yahoo Sports' Pat Forde noted, it appeared to be very serious:
Creg Stephenson of AL.com later provided the diagnosis, citing an ESPN sideline reporter:
While Ole Miss' season is over, you have to start thinking about next season if the injury proves to be that serious. Tunsil, one of the Rebels' most talented players, is a potential top-five pick in the 2016 NFL draft.
He has struggled to stay healthy this season, though, and this is an extremely disheartening way for his year to end. All eyes will be on whether he can make a speedy recover in time for his junior year.
