
2014-15 Wild Card Round Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings
Here are the Lester’s Legends fantasy football tight end rankings for the Wild Card Round.
1. Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers
Greg Olsen averaged 63 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game. His 1,008 yards were a career high and second only to Rob Gronkowski (1,124 yards) among tight ends.
Olsen faces the Arizona Cardinals. The Cards allowed 259.5 passing yards per game.
2. Coby Fleener, Indianapolis Colts
Coby Fleener averaged 48.4 yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. He finished the year averaging 61.4 yards and 0.8 touchdowns in the final five games.
Fleener had 64 yards in the first meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.
3. Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Jason Witten averaged 43.9 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game but averaged 69.3 yards in the final three games of the year. Despite having a down year, Witten is capable of turning in a decent performance against the Detroit Lions.
4. Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers
Heath Miller averaged 47.6 yard per game on the year. He averaged 59 yards per game in the final three weeks of the season. He faces the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens ranked 24th with 248.7 passing yards allowed per game.
5. Owen Daniels, Baltimore Ravens
Owen Daniels averaged 35.1 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game. He averaged 40.5 yards and a touchdown in two meetings with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
6. Dwayne Allen, Indianapolis Colts
Dwayne Allen averaged 30.4 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He’s dealing with a knee injury but
should be able to go against the Bengals. When healthy, he’s one of the premier red-zone targets at his position.
7. Jermaine Gresham, Cincinnati Bengals
Jermaine Gresham averaged 30.7 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game. He caught 10 passes for 48 yards in the first meeting with the Indianapolis Colts.
8. Eric Ebron, Detroit Lions
Eric Ebron averaged 19.1 yards per game. He’s not a reliable fantasy option.
