
2014-15 Wild Card Round Fantasy Football Running Back Rankings
Here are the Lester’s Legends fantasy football running back rankings for the Wild Card Round.
1. Le’Veon Bell, Pittsburgh Steelers
Le’Veon Bell averaged 138.4 total yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game. He closed out the year averaging 171.7 total yards and 1.3 touchdowns in his final six games.
Bell averaged 82.5 total yards and 0.5 touchdowns in two meetings with the Baltimore Ravens.
2. DeMarco Murray, Dallas Cowboys
DeMarco Murray averaged 141.3 total yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game. Despite a hand injury, Murray averaged 89.5 total yards and a touchdown in the final two games.
His tough matchup with the Detroit Lions' top-ranked run defense keeps him out of the top spot, but Murray is a plus start regardless of his opponent.
3. Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati Bengals
Jeremy Hill averaged 83.7 total yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He closed out the year averaging 136.3 total yards and a touchdown in the final three games.
In the five games that Hill received 20 carries, he averaged 140.2 yards. He should find success against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts allowed 113.4 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game.
4. Joique Bell, Detroit Lions
Joique Bell averaged 78.8 total yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. In the final five games he averaged 98 total yards and a touchdown.
Bell stands a good chance of scoring against the Dallas Cowboys this week. Only the Atlanta Falcons (21) allowed more rushing touchdowns than Dallas’ 18.
5. Justin Forsett, Baltimore Ravens
Justin Forsett was one of the biggest fantasy football surprises of the year, averaging 95.6 total yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. He averaged 88.5 total yards in two games against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
6. Jonathan Stewart, Carolina Panthers
Jonathan Stewart averaged 76.2 total yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game. J-Stew averaged 108.8 total yards and 0.4 touchdowns in his final five games. He faces the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card Round.
The Cards allowed 108.7 rushing yards per game.
7. Daniel Herron, Indianapolis Colts
Daniel Herron averaged 73.5 total yards in the final six games of the year. He faces the Cincinnati Bengals this week. The Bengals allowed 116.3 yards and a touchdown per game.
8. Giovani Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals
Giovani Bernard averaged 79.2 total yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. Despite losing the feature back role to Hill, Bernard averaged 82.7 total yards and 0.7 touchdowns in the final three games.
9. Kerwynn Williams, Arizona Cardinals
Kerwynn Williams averaged 64.3 total yards in the final four games of the year. He faces the Carolina Panthers this week. The Panthers allowed 112 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game.
10. Reggie Bush, Detroit Lions
Reggie Bush averaged 69.5 total yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game in the final two games of the season. He could play a factor against the Cowboys, but he’s a risky fantasy option.
