Xherdan Shaqiri

Xherdan Shaqiri has long been linked with moves out of Bayern ever since he arrived at the club, as the young, attacking midfielder has struggled time and time again to establish himself in the first team.
Yet, news this week may finally be suggesting an exit strategy for the Swiss international.
According to Chisanga Malata of the Daily Star on December 27, Italian side Juventus were preparing a bid for the Bundesliga player with high hopes of acquiring his services in January.
The following day, Anthony Chapman of the Daily Express went one step further in suggesting a fee and the manner in which the Old Lady hoped to pick up Shaqiri. Chapman writes:
"The Switzerland international is wanted by both Louis van Gaal and Brendan Rodgers, with both managers failing to land the star during the summer, but reports in Italy claim that Juventus are leading the race for his signature.
The Serie A champions have been in contact with Shaqiri's representatives over a £16million deal, with Massimo Allegri planning to deploy him at the tip of a midfield diamond.
"
We await to see how this one develops.
