Sheldon Richardson Injury: Updates on Jets Star's Concussion and Return

Dec 28, 2014The New York Jets will end their disastrous 2014 season with star defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson on the sideline due to a concussion.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, the Jets have declared Richardson out for the remainder of their Week 17 game against Miami:

Following his exit, Richardson took to Twitter to express his frustration over the decision:
Richardson has been tremendous in two seasons for the Jets. He has recorded 144 total tackles and 11.5 sacks since 2013, including a team-high eight sacks this year (which includes Week 17).
The 24-year-old old has never missed a game in his brief career, though 2014 did end prematurely due to his injury versus the Dolphins.
