Russell Wilson and His Grandma Spend Christmas Dancing to R. Kelly
We all know R. Kelly can set the mood. What we didn’t know, at least until this video surfaced on Christmas, is that Russell Wilson’s Grandma Carolyn can cut a rug.
After all the presents were unwrapped, Wilson and Grandma Carolyn began grooving to R. Kelly’s “Christmas, I’ll Be Steppin’.” We’ll assume “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey had already come up on Wilson’s iPod.
Wilson, who is said to have a cameo role in the upcoming Entourage movie, per Bryan Rose of Sports Illustrated, looked as Hollywood as ever with his tight shades and his leather jacket (a possible nod to John Travolta’s character in Saturday Night Fever?).

Carolyn was dressed a little more casually, but we’ll cut her some slack. After all, who expects Christmas at the Wilson house to turn into an impromptu dance party?
Carolyn’s moves aren’t quite as adventurous as the ones you’ll see in Step Up (insert gratuitous Channing Tatum clip), but she does appear to have the beat. As someone who gets laughed at dancing at weddings, I know having rhythm is half the battle.
If you have a busy day ahead of you and don’t have time to sit through the entire three-and-a-half-minute clip, the video peaks around the two-minute mark when Grandma goes solo for about 15 seconds.
What's next for these two—Dancing with the Stars? Wilson isn't ruling it out.
We’ll see Wilson and the first-place Seattle Seahawks back on the dance floor—I mean football field—Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.
