NFL Odds: Opening Spreads for Week 17 Betting
The Detroit Lions will be gunning for their first win in Green Bay in 23 years and their first division title in 21 years when they take on the Packers in Week 17 as 7.5-point underdogs.
The 11-4 Lions are 4-0 in their last four games, including an important 20-14 win in Chicago last weekend that kept them tied atop the NFC North standings alongside the 11-4 Packers.
The win over the Bears ended the Lions’ two-game straight-up losing streak on the road, but it was the second time in as many weeks that they failed to cover, dropping them to 3-6 ATS in their last nine outings.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Green Bay enters Sunday afternoon’s Lions vs. Packers betting matchup at Lambeau Field undefeated at home this season with a perfect 7-0 record, going 5-1-1 against the spread.
The Pack are 6-1 SU in their last seven but a meager 2-3 ATS in their last five, with the point total finishing under in four of their last five after a 9-1 run for the over, which included five games in which the Packers scored at least 38 points.
The 6-8-1 Carolina Panthers will be looking to clinch their second straight NFC South title when they visit Atlanta to face the 6-9 Falcons as four-point underdogs on the Week 17 NFL betting lines.
The Panthers have resurrected their season and remained alive on the Super Bowl futures board with three straight SU wins, overtaking the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints to take control of top spot in the division.
However, Carolina has been far from a strong bet this season, particularly on the road, where they are 1-4-1 SU and 2-4 ATS in their last six.
After seizing the division lead from the Saints midway through the season, the Falcons have stumbled down the stretch, going 2-3 SU in their last five and 3-2 ATS.
However, the Falcons topped the Panthers 19-17 on the road in Week 11 and are a strong 5-1 SU and ATS in their last five home meetings with Carolina.
In other NFL Week 17 betting action, the 10-5 Pittsburgh Steelers take on the 10-4-1 Cincinnati Bengals as early three-point favorites in a showdown to determine the AFC North champion.
As well, the 9-6 San Diego Chargers can clinch an AFC Wild Card berth with a SU win when they take on the 8-7 Kansas City Chiefs as 2.5-point underdogs.
Meanwhile, the 9-6 Baltimore Ravens need a win combined with a Chargers loss to earn a playoff spot when they face the Cleveland Browns as nine-point favorites.
