WWE's Top Tweets, Instagram Photos and Viral Videos for Week of December 22
WWE Superstars past and present donned holiday onesies, ugly sweaters and full Santa gear; social media caught it all.
Christmas, not surprisingly, dominated the best tweets, videos and Instagram photos of the week in WWE. Other buzz-worthy items came courtesy of celebrations of taunts and powerbombs. A Roddy Piper joke sneaked its way in there as well.
The Hall of Famer hosted Rusev and Lana on a Piper's Pit segment on Monday's Raw. A series of tense moments followed.

Lightening the mood, Corey Graves paid homage to Piper in humorous fashion when he tweeted:
When Hot Rod goes from cordial to crazy in just seconds, as he did barking at Rusev, it's easy to see why so many folks have compared Dean Ambrose to him. Ambrose, though, entered the scene in much different fashion than Piper.
He was one-third of a three-man wrecking crew that triple powerbombed a long list of victims.
WWE looked back at some of those attacks, along with Kevin Owens injuring Sami Zayn and some powerbombs that ended with broken tables.
The latest 30 Seconds of Fury goes well beyond its normal time limit, not that anyone is going to complain:
The company also caught Ambrose looking nuts at a house show. Standing atop ring steps, he looks geared up for a fight.
In the shot posted on Instagram, his Lunatic Fringe nickname feels especially apropos:
Fans also saw a sillier side of the former member of The Shield. WWE designed a series of tacky holiday sweaters, and Ambrose wore a pained expression when he modeled his.
DeanAmbrose.net's Twitter account tweeted a photo of Ambrose's sweater and grimace:
He was far from the only Superstar who got dressed up for the holiday. The Rock rocked a Christmas onesie for a caroling performance on Live! with Kelly and Michael.
It seems impossible, but The Brahma Bull actually looks cool in the getup.
He didn't always have that movie star aura, though. His unsightly haircut and fanny pack are about as far from cool as you can get.
Confident as he is, though, The Rock shared a photo of his old, awkward self on Instagram that would have made an awesome Christmas card:
The Rock's WrestleMania X8 opponent was in the Christmas spirit as well. He appeared on Monday's Raw in full Santa garb to kick off the show.
WWE posted a backstage photo of The Hulkster in his jolly outfit:
Hogan is also featured in a video that many a fan viewed during the week. He joins Scott Steiner, Ric Flair and The Rock in the countdown of the best Superstar taunts in company history.
The Rock is not in a onesie this time around. Hogan is not emulating Old Saint Nick. The intimidating game is a lot easier when not rocking those items.
Although, Ambrose would still make his enemies uncomfortable if he were charging at them in his Christmas sweater.
