NFL Injury Report Week 17: Team-by-Team Updates, Inactive List and More

The 2014 NFL regular season comes to a close this Sunday but fantasy football owners and fans of all 32 teams will be checking the Week 17 injury report to determine which top stars are inactive.

With elite players like Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers, Cincinnati’s A.J. Green and others on their respective team’s injury lists, football fans will be watching closely to see what their status will be for Sunday.

Here are the latest news, status updates and team-by-team inactives for Week 17.

Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers

Status: Active

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a calf injury in Week 16, but he is not listed on the team's inactive list and will play Sunday against the Lions for the NFC North division title.

A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Status: Active 

Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green suffered an arm injury in the first quarter of the team’s win over Denver and was forced to leave the game in the third quarter. Despite the injury, Green was not listed on the team's inactive list and will play.

Cincinnati and Pittsburgh square off Sunday for the AFC North division title. 

Ryan Mathews, RB, San Diego Chargers

Status: Inactive

San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews has missed the last two games with an ankle injury, and according to the team’s injury report, he will miss Week 17 as well.

If owners have Mathews in their fantasy leagues, they have a backup plan already. With the running back listed as out, look to start someone else in a crucial finale matchup.

T.Y. Hilton, WR, Indianapolis Colts

Status: Active

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton missed last week’s game with a hamstring injury, but he returned to practice Tuesday and will play in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans, according to the team's inactive list.

Justin Forsett, RB, Baltimore Ravens

Status: Active

After leaving Week 16’s game early with an ankle injury, Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett insisted he was fine and he would be ready to play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.

He is officially active, according to the team's inactive list.
