The Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds pushed this season posted total of nine last night in a 6-3 Cubs win, but the Under is still now 7-2-1 in the last 10 head-to-head meetings.

Rich Harden is one of the best pitchers in baseball when he is on, and he seems to have rediscovered his form, as he has now allowed two runs or less in four straight starts, posting 32 strikeouts in 24 innings over those starts. He has done his best pitching on the road all year, where he is 4-1 with a stellar 2.19 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in eight starts, and he should have no problem with a Reds lineup that is hitting a pathetic .175 over the last 10 games.

Now Justin Lehr was not spectacular in his first Major League start, but he was not terrible either as he allowed three runs in four hits in six innings. He did have six walks however, but that is something he can improve on here, especially vs. a free-swinging Chicago lineup. The Cubs have not exactly been spanking the ball vs. right-handed pitchers themselves over their last 10 games, batting a modest .259 against them in this time.

Look for the Under pattern of this head-to-head series to continue tonight.
