Of course, the manager claims not to be thinking about it to avoid speculation, but he will be eyeing potential reinforcements to add to his squad ahead of the second half of the campaign.
Given Liverpool's shortage of goals and current goalkeeping situation, he certainly should be looking to sign players in those two key positions, anyway.

With eight goals to his name for the Swans this season, Bony would certainly be a welcome addition at Anfield but would likely be an expensive purchase.

Long linked with a move away, the Italian is wanted by Sunderland and Inter Milan, according to Simon Jones of Mail Online.

It's an absolute nonstarter for several reasons, not least of which that Liverpool spent £12 million on Alberto Moreno in the summer.

It's laughable that Liverpool are being linked with a move for Fernando Torres, this time by the Daily Mail's Rob Shepherd.
"Liverpool are seriously considering a January move for Fernando Torres," claims Shepherd.
This is, as This Is Anfield's Jack Lusby aptly writes, tabloid nonsense.
