49ers' Anthony Davis Says He Asked Manti Te'o About His Imaginary Girlfriend
Before the 2013 NFL draft, everyone wondered how the NFL would handle Manti Te'o and the hoax that was his fake girlfriend, Lennay Kekua. There hasn't been much made about that situation since the San Diego Chargers drafted the linebacker, but an opponent apparently brought it up this weekend.
San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Anthony Davis tweeted Sunday that he got Te'o mad by asking about Kekua during Saturday's game, which San Diego won 38-35 in overtime after overcoming a 21-0 deficit:
"I asked Manti Teo about his imaginary Girlfriend last night and he snapped. lol I thought that was hilarious.
