Andre Johnson Reaches 1,000 Career Reception Milestone, 2nd Fastest in History
Andre Johnson hasn't been having one of his more memorable seasons compared to the standard he has set over the course of his career, but he certainly had a moment he'll never forget on Sunday, as he registered his 1,000th catch against the Baltimore Ravens.
The team celebrated the moment on their official Twitter account:

According to the Houston Chronicle, Johnson reached the mark in 168 games, while Mavin Harrison narrowly has him beat, having accomplished the milestone in 167 games.
Johnson has been one of the NFL's top receivers for over a decade. He has 1,000 or more receiving yards in seven seasons, 100 or more receptions in five seasons and has posted eight or more receiving touchdowns in four seasons.
As Nick Mathews of the Houston Chronicle tweeted, Johnson did the above without much help:
With a better quarterback throughout the years, Johnson may have posted historical marks. Still, he was incredibly consistent throughout his career and will be remembered as one of the finest receivers his generation produced.
