Jamaal Charles, Knile Davis' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 16
Jamaal Charles finished the fantasy season for his owners the way he started it—by barely producing.
The Kansas City Chiefs star and consistent RB1 for most of this season failed to produce at the biggest moment of the season for his fantasy owners, stymied by the Pittsburgh Steelers defense and a game plan that didn't seem to prioritize getting him the ball regularly.
That may have had something to do with the various injuries that Charles was dealing with throughout the week, but it certainly won't be any consolation for his fantasy owners.

If your championship is in Week 17, you pretty much have to trust Charles. He's been good far more often than he's been poor this year, after all. But folks with a championship this week were left out in the cold.
And you can once again consider Knile Davis a handcuff that should remain on your bench. Unless we find out Charles will be out with an injury during the week, you simply can't trust Davis to produce with Charles as the top option in front of him.
Even when Davis exploded for 20 fantasy points in Week 15, most of that production came after Charles left the game in the third quarter. If you've reached your championship game, you probably don't need to be told to bench Davis if Charles is healthy. But if you were wavering, let this article serve as your reminder to keep him away from your starting lineup.
