NFL Spreads for Week 16: Odds Show Huge Home Underdogs
Seldom do you see home underdogs of seven points or more.
Imagine how rare it is to see five of them on the same NFL betting board.
Five teams catch at least a touchdown on the Vegas point spread this week, including the Washington Redskins (+7.5 against Philadelphia), Chicago (+9.5 against Detroit), New York Jets (+11.5 against the Patriots), Oakland (+7.5 at home to Buffalo) and Arizona (+9 against Seattle).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Cardinals are 11-3 and the biggest underdog in modern history for a team with such a strong record. But they are down to a third-string quarterback and facing a surging Seattle team.
The Bills have been favored by a touchdown on the road just once since 2008, and the Jets have never closed as a double-digit home underdog since the Odds Shark NFL database began back in 1980.
In other more normal betting action, the Kansas City Chiefs will be gunning for a win to keep their fading playoff hopes alive when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers as three-point road underdogs on the early lines for Week 16 of the NFL season.
The 8-6 Chiefs ended a three-game straight-up and spread losing streak last weekend, posting a decisive 31-13 victory over the Oakland Raiders and covering as 11-point home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
The Chiefs have failed to score more than 20 points in four of their previous five outings and have produced mixed results on the road, losing straight up and against the spread in their last two and going 2-3 SU and ATS in their last five.
The 9-5 Steelers are 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS in their last four games, seizing control of the top spot in the AFC wild-card race and moving to within half a game of the AFC North-leading Cincinnati Bengals.
The Steelers have been an offensive force in the second half of the season, averaging 33.1 points per game in their last eight outings, with the point total finishing over in six of their last eight. Also, they are a solid 4-1 SU in their last five home dates against Kansas City.
The 9-4-1 Bengals will look to strengthen their lead in the AFC North and help themselves out on the Super Bowl odds board when they face the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos as 3.5-point home underdogs on the Week 16 NFL betting lines.
Cincy has recovered from a midseason swoon to post SU wins in six of its last eight games, going 4-3-1 ATS, but needs a win in Monday night’s Broncos vs. Bengals betting matchup at Paul Brown Stadium to maintain the upper hand over Pittsburgh and the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional standings.
The 11-3 Broncos clinched their division with a 22-10 win over the San Diego Chargers for their fourth straight SU win (2-2 ATS). They are a strong 5-2 SU in their last seven trips to Cincinnati.
The 9-5 Ravens will also be aiming for first place in the AFC North when they face the 7-7 Houston Texans as 3.5-point road favorites. The Ravens are 2-0 SU and ATS in their last two road contests and 7-1 SU in their last eight games against the Texans.
