Manchester United Stars Visit Leukaemia Patient, Sign Her Head
With a fantastic gesture by Manchester United players, one young lady has (maybe forever?) had United stardom etched on her head.
Charlotte Jennings, a 12-year-old with leukaemia, was paid a visit by Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Robin van Persie and Juan Mata just over a week ago at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
Instead of having the United stars sign a poster or a shirt or something of the like, the young season-ticket holder had them sign her head.

"I'm a 12-year-old with a bald head so why not make the most of it," she said, per the Daily Mirror.
Diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia (acute myeloid) in January, Charlotte has battled valiantly and spent seven months of 2014 in the hospital.
As a result, she hasn't been able to attend any Manchester United matches this year, as she typically goes to all matches with her older brother Mike and her grandmother Maureen.
Her father Paul is sceptical that the signatures will ever come off her head.
"The signatures are still on there and I am not sure if they will ever come off," he told the Mirror. "She was delighted to meet the players and they were all great."
