Tiger Woods Let's One Rip; Did Nike Pull This Video Too?
By now, we've all heard about Tiger Woods fart at the Buick Open over the weekend. Big deal.
The real story is that Nike might be back on the prowl, protecting one of their athletes again and getting videos pulled to keep some images intact.
Whether Woods did or did not break wind is one of the most childish, inconsequential sports debates anyone has every had. If he did, who cares, laugh it off and go on with your life. If he didn't, then go on with your life anyways.
What's interesting is that the PGA Tour has used its reach to pull several of the "Tiger Woods fart" videos off of youtube, but ironically only the ones from yesterday.
If the PGA Tour truly had "a copyright claim", as the video's black screen now states, then one might wonder why they haven't pulled all possible PGA Tour videos off of youtube.
Did Nike give the Tour the nudge? Are they still on the prowl to protect their athletes, like they did when they confiscated videos of LeBron James getting dunked on at his own basketball camp?
There's no stopping this steam engine, though. 'Tiger Woods fart' was the fourth most searched item on Google today, which shows how viral the internet is and how immature us sports fans can be.
Woods against cashed in for sportsbook bettors with a win at the Buick and we'll see if he has enough gas in his tank to keep it going in the coming weeks.
