Former New Mexico State Player Posterizes Defender in Eurocup Game
Bandja Sy came to America, played college basketball and is now back in his native France, destroying lives one dunk at time.
The former New Mexico State forward is currently playing pro ball for France's SLUC Nancy squad. We don't often keep tabs on players pinballing about the second tier of international basketball, but Sy left us no choice.
The 6'8" forward ruined another human being during a recent Eurocup game. French sports network L'Equipe 21 posted a Vine of the incident. Sy grabbed a pass and ran unobstructed to the lane, where he exacted stern corporal punishment on Spirou Charleroi center Leigh Enobakhare:
While we're here, it must be noted that European basketball teams have spectacular mascots/logos.
Here's SLUC Nancy's "Couguar" emblem:

And this is the (old) logo for Spirou:

That's quality work all across the board. No one enjoys tangling with confused big cats or high-flying bellhops. You let those mascots be and go about your day.
