Floyd Mayweather Talks Manny Pacquiao, Bob Arum and More in Fight Hype Interview
Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather opened up during a candid interview with Ben Thompson of FightHype.com about a possible fight with Manny Pacquiao, promoter Bob Arum and more, teasing the possibility that a superfight could come to fruition soon.
Mayweather is adamant that the time for a fight against Pacquiao is now. This comes after Pacquiao called out Mayweather on Tuesday via Twitter, stating that he wants the fight to happen:

In the interview, Money talked about being the side in the best position to negotiate and how he feels the bout has the potential to finally be set sooner rather than later. He also spoke about May 2 as a possible date for the fight and the potential holdups that could cause problems in the negotiations yet again.
Mayweather previously discussed the date of a potential fight in a Showtime interview, via ESPN.com's Dan Rafael, saying, “We are ready. Let's make it happen. May 2. Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao. Let's do it.”
When asked about how close the two men came to fighting in 2008, Mayweather explained to Thompson how drug testing became a major holdup. He also went on to detail the impact Bob Arum has had on Pacquiao’s career, saying that Pac-Man only fights when Arum tells him.
If Mayweather is true to his word, the pressure is once again on Pacquiao and his advisers. As the bigger draw, Mayweather will have final say, but boxing fans may be closer than ever to the superfight.
