Bayern Munich have lost just twice this season and remain Germany's gold standard and one of the top clubs in the world. But the German superpowers may have suffered a huge loss on Tuesday, as star forward Robert Lewandowski had to leave the club's game against SC Freiburg.

While Bayern Munich is a deep enough club to get by without Lewandowski should his injury be serious, losing their top forward and one of the more dangerous attacking players in the world would put a strain on their domestic and continental aspirations.
