Cole Suffers Broken Hand

Monday, Dec. 15

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reported on Cole's injury on Monday, adding what it would mean with regard to the Eagles' depth chart:

Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly reported on the chances that Cole would play with a club on his hand:

Cole has played in all 14 games and has 6.5 sacks this year, contributing a considerable chunk to Philadelphia's total of 47 sacks, which is second in the NFL only to the Buffalo Bills.

As dynamic as the Eagles' pass rush can be, their secondary needs to step up following a Week 15 home loss to Dallas. That side of the ball must complement the offense better if Philly is meant to make the NFL playoffs, especially if Cole's status is in doubt the rest of the way.
