Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has given somebody the chance to get his or her hands on a very special Christmas present.
The German international put a signed Lionel Messi Barcelona shirt up for auction, with the hope of raising money for the Lukas Podolski Foundation, in conjunction with United Charity.

The bidding for the shirt has ended, but it has an estimated value of €1,500.
Podolski set up his foundation in 2010, with his motivation explained on the charity's website:
"Lukas Podolski has a big heart, especially where children from socially disadvantaged families are concerned. His foundation has been set up to carry out sport and educational projects for disadvantaged children and young adults.
"
