Bayern Munich Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of December 15

Stefan BienkowskiDec 15, 2014

Bayern Munich continued their dominance over the German Bundesliga this weekend with a confident 4-0 win over Augsburg on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola’s side have already qualified from their Champions League group and will look toward their last 16 opponent in time, but not before coming to a comfortable pause over the winter break in just a few weeks.

The real fun begins after that, with the January transfer window set to open, and that will invariably see the Bavarian giants linked with everyone and anyone under the sun.

Here are the best of such rumours this week.

Franck Ribery

Franck Ribery has only just returned to first-team football for Bayern this season, but new reports have already begun linking the Frenchman with a move to the United States, Qatar and even the United Arab Emirates.

Speaking to Welt am Sonntag, as reported by Goal.com and NBC Sports' Pro Soccer Talk, Ribery said:

"

I’ve been here for almost eight years. Bayern and I are like a married couple.

I bought us a house here. My son was born here. I raised my daughter here. They speak better German than me: articulate and grammatically perfect.

I could play for another club in Europe but my heart is beating too much for Bayern.

But I could imagine going to the US, Qatar or Dubai for a new experience.

"

Although the player never suggested a move is in his immediate future, at 31 years old, Ribery may find himself on the move before too long.
