Hilton Injures Hamstring, Will Get MRI
Sunday, Dec. 14
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton suffered a hamstring injury Sunday in his team's 17-10 win over the Houston Texans. Per Phillip B. Wilson of Scout.com, Hilton's left hamstring was wrapped as the team celebrated its AFC South-clinching victory:
Asked if he would be OK, per Wilson, Hilton said this: "I hope so. I’ll know more after I go get an MRI and talk with the doctors.”
Hilton's presence as a big-play threat has been invaluable. Before being injured Sunday, he had four receptions for 50 yards. Hilton has 82 receptions, 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.
Without question, the Colts will need Hilton at his best to have a chance at advancing deep into the playoffs. Indy's medical staff will be keeping a close eye on the receiver's recovery.
