Eddie Lacy, James Starks' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 15
So much for a running back controversy in Green Bay.
His status questioned throughout the week, Eddie Lacy not only played but also made the most of his touches against the Buffalo Bills in Week 15. The second-year pro eclipsed 100 total yards while reaching the end zone against a tough opponent.
James Starks, meanwhile, saw his workload revert after an active second-half in Week 14.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈

| James Starks | 4 | 19 | 4.8 | 0 | 1 | 10 |
Despite injuring his hip on Monday Night Football, Lacy's prognosis improved throughout the week. Two days before kickoff, head coach Mike McCarthy gave an optimistic prognosis, per the Packers' Twitter page:
If Lacy can thrive against Buffalo, a top-10 rushing defense before Week 15, owners should firmly trust him against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during a pivotal Week 16 for fantasy players. He has quietly topped 100 total yards in seven straight outings, making him a low-end No. 1 rusher to close out 2014.
Lacy owners who grabbed Starks as a contingency plan should keep him around just in case, but the backup shouldn't factor into any lineup plans as a standalone option.
