Bradley Injures Cheek

Saturday, Dec. 13

Timothy Bradley's frustration from his draw on Saturday night against Diego Gabriel Chaves will only be compounded after he appeared to have suffered a noticeable facial injury.

The 31-year-old admitted in the post-fight interview that he likely fractured his cheekbone, per Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole:

Iole more detail as well:

Many felt that Bradley was the deserving winner, despite one of the judges giving the fight to Chaves and another scoring it a draw. ESPN's Dan Rafael was less than pleased with the final outcome:

Bradley's had a rough year—first losing to Manny Pacquiao in April and closing out 2014 with this contentious draw.

With no other info about the injury, it's hard to say when he'll return to the ring in 2015.
