Kolo Toure Named Liverpool Player for November Despite Playing Only 1 EPL Game
November was a month to forget for Liverpool, and nothing perhaps illustrates that more than their award for player of the month.
On Friday, Kolo Toure was named as their best player for November, despite the fact that he only played one Premier League game during that period.
Liverpool played four Premier League matches in November, losing three in a row to Newcastle, Chelsea and Crystal Palace without Toure, before the Ivorian centre-back helped them secure a 1-0 win over Stoke City.

Toure did play in two Champions League games, but neither of them was a victory.
He starred against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, limiting the score to 1-0, and also figured in the 2-2 draw at Ludogorets.
The award was voted by Liverpool fans, and Toure admitted he was delighted with the honour.
He told the club's official website:
"I'm very pleased. It's the first time I've received this award. I thank God and my teammates, the staff and the manager. All the work we do helped the team improve in this month and we hope we can carry on doing that.
It's fantastic to be voted for by the Liverpool fans. They are really passionate and know football very, very well.
For me, it's a big privilege and I am very happy to be recognised by them. It's fantastic.
