Gervinho: I Hate Arsenal for How Arsene Wenger Treated Me
Most Arsenal types were happy when Gervinho was shown the door at Arsenal over the 2013 transfer window when the north London side sold him to Roma.
The feeling, it seems, was mutual.
Gervinho scored nine goals for the Gunners in two seasons, but the pacy Ivorian was mostly remembered during his Arsenal times for his wasteful finishing in front of goal.

In spite of his oft-calamitous goalscoring nature, he's found his footing in Serie A and has been a hit with the Italian club.
In a presser with African media (h/t La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia), he revealed that he now "hates" Arsenal and felt as though Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger didn't put enough faith in him:
"He (Wenger) never had confidence in me. (Roma coach Rudi Garcia) doesn't differentiate between those who are playing and those who aren't playing. That's important for a player.
He doesn't only speak to those who are playing, he talks to everyone as there are 25 players in the squad, not just 11.
As a child, I dreamed of playing for Arsenal because I loved them.
Now I hate them for the way Wenger treated me.
However, I regretted leaving the club after such a short time without being able to show my worth, which I'm now doing at Roma instead.
"
And just in case anyone needed a reminder...
