Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He was later ruled out for the game.
Lindley was a sixth-round pick in the 2012 NFL draft by the Cardinals, and in his rookie season, he completed just 52 percent of his passes and threw zero touchdowns to seven interceptions.
Fantasy translation: Don't get your hopes up that Lindley can be some super sleeper extraordinaire. The Cardinals cut Lindley before the 2014 season began and only brought him back once Carson Palmer tore his ACL against the Rams in Week 10.
Patrick Daugherty of Rotoworld weighed in on Lindley's presence under center:
A lack of demonstrated accuracy and limited reps diminish Lindley's fantasy value to almost nothing. As good of a coaching job as Bruce Arians has done at the helm in Arizona, even his QB wizardry likely won't conjure up anything special out of Lindley as long as he's in the lineup.
The Cardinals do have weapons in Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd and John Brown in the receiving corps. However, Lindley needs to show he can competently distribute the ball to his playmakers before he merits even fantasy QB2 consideration.
