Stepfan Taylor, Kerwynn Williams' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 15

If you were looking for a definitive answer to which Arizona Cardinals running back would take over for the injured Andre Ellington on Thursday Night Football, you were probably left disappointed.

While Kerwynn Williams was the more impressive player and did more with the touches he received, it was clear the Cardinals were utilizing a platoon between Williams and Stepfan Taylor against the St. Louis Rams.

Unfortunately for fantasy owners, that undercuts the value of both players.

Williams, of course, turned more than a few heads last week when he rushed 19 times for 100 yards in a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. At this point, he remains the Arizona running back you want to own, though heading into championship week in most leagues, he's really only a flex consideration in deeper leagues.

As for Taylor, he doesn't need to be owned at this point. Of the two players, Williams is more explosive and seems likely to lead the team in touches going forward.

Taylor is only for the most desperate owners who lack any other option.
