Wright's Return Provides Much-Needed Offensive Weapon
With Wright's return, the Titans don't want to lose any weapons as quarterback Marcus Mariota works his way through his rookie campaign. Wright is one of the team's biggest pass-catching assets, as he illustrated by making 94 grabs in 2013.
He has also been durable throughout his career. He's missed just three regular-season games since the team drafted him in the first round of the 2012 draft, though the Baylor product did sit out for two contests last year after suffering a hand injury.
The silver lining for the Titans is their depth at the position. If Wright misses time in the future, they will probably use a committee approach to replace him, allotting the extra snaps to Dorial Green-Beckham and Harry Douglas.
Wright is a key member of the offense, though and a welcome sight for Mariota and the Titans' offense.
