Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was involved in a car accident on Tuesday, and he suffered two transverse process fractures in his lower back, according to the team’s official Twitter account:
According to Carolina's official inactive list, Newton will not play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta Falcons
Status: Inactive
After exploding with 11 receptions for 259 yards and one touchdown in Week 14, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones injured his hip. Unfortunately for Atlanta and fantasy fans, Jones is listed on the team's inactive list and will not play against Pittsburgh.
Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers
Status: Active
Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy has been a reliable force for the team this year, but he suffered an injury at the end of Week 14’s victory over the Falcons. According to the team's official inactive list, Lacy will play Sunday against Buffalo.
Julius Thomas, TE, Denver Broncos
Status: Active
Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas was active in Week 14 but did not play a snap all game. While fantasy owners were let down, Thomas is not listed on the Week 15 inactive list and should play Sunday against the Chargers.
DeSean Jackson, WR, Washington Redskins
