Indianapolis Colts Mascot Demolishes Children at 'Mascot Challenge'

Dan CarsonDec 10, 2014

Fans at TCF Bank Stadium were treated to a show of complete sideline-to-sideline domination during Sunday's New York Jets-Minnesota Vikings game.

It became clear to everyone in attendance that one individual possessed more talent and raw athleticism than the rest of the athletes on the field. That person also wore a horse costume.

His name is Blue, and he tore children apart Sunday.

The Indianapolis Colts mascot took over the halftime "Mascot Challenge," in which various Minnesota mascots join up to play a scrimmage game against a youth team. Blue joined in and started dropping children for losses in the backfield and generally demoralizing their overmatched offensive line. He shoved, taunted and would not be denied.

SB Nation's Rodger Sherman posted a Vine of Blue's performance. The bipedal horse left little doubt that these kids didn't show up to play.

Does this top the Minnesota Golden Gopher stiff-arming kids into dust in 2009?

It's hard to say. Goldy left more human wreckage in his wake, but a few missed tackles don't break a child's spirit like a pelvis-stirring sack dance does.

Sorry, kids. As J.J. Watt once said, "You mess with the horse-man, you got problems."

It went something like that.
