Florida picked up its ninth commitment for the 2015 class when 3-star linebacker Rayshad Jackson pledged to the Gators, according to ESPN's Derek Tyson.
Jackson selected Florida over offers from Arkansas and FIU.

The 6'4", 227-pounder can also be flexed out as a jumbo wide receiver. This news likely means that the Gators will be major players for Daniel's younger brother Josh, who is a 4-star receiver in the 2016 class.
Imatorbhebhe is the eighth commitment for the Gators in the 2015 cycle.

Florida and California are the final two choices for 3-star tight end Daniel Imatorbhebhe, according to GatorBait's Luke Stampini.
The 6'4", 227-pounder is an early enrollee, which means his decision should come soon.
Landing the one-time Missouri pledge would be a big addition to the Gators class, especially considering that his brother Josh is a stud receiver in the 2016 class.

McElwain has hit the ground running in his first week as the new leader of the Gators program. On Tuesday, he focused on the Tampa area—which has been a hotbed for the Florida program over the years.
Per ESPN's Derek Tyson, 5-star defensive end Byron Cowart, 4-star running back Ray-Ray McCloud and Auden Tate were among the prospects McElwain was slated to visit with.
While McElwain is still in the infant stages of rebuilding the Gators program, he's off to a good start in creating a buzz and capturing the attention of recruits in the 2015 cycle.
