Galatasaray vs. Arsenal: Goals, Highlights from Champions League Tie
Arsenal went into their final Champions League group stage game against Galatasaray with their progression to the knockout stages already assured—but keen to turn around some disappointing recent form.
The Gunners got off to a perfect start in the third minute when Lukas Podolski scored a brilliant opener. Enjoying a rare start, the German forward picked up the ball on the edge of the penalty area before launching a powerful left-footed strike into the roof of the net.

In the 11th minute, the Gunners exploited exactly the same left channel when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain put Aaron Ramsey through. The Welshman finished low and across Sinan Bolat to make it 2-0.
Ramsey got his brace with a superb effort from distance from a rebound on a corner kick. The ball bounced to Ramsey who one-timed a perfect strike to the top corner.
Naturally, Arsenal fans were ecstatic with Ramsey's efforts.
Clearly, the golazo also impressed several of Ramsey's teammates.

Gala pulled back a late consolation in the 88th minute when Wesley Sneijder struck a free kick that looked like it was shot out of a cannon.
The Gunners, however, had the last say in front of goal two minutes into injury time when Podolski broke through the porous Turkish defence for his second of the evening.

That proved to be the last kick of the game, which finished 4-1 to the visitors.
