Munir El Haddadi, Barcelona Agree to New Contract: Latest Details and Reaction
Barcelona teen sensation Munir El Haddadi put pen to paper on an updated contract on Tuesday, significantly increasing his buyout clause to keep away potential suitors once the January transfer window opens.
The club confirmed the news via their official website:
"Munir El Haddadi signed an updated contract on Tuesday afternoon in which his release clause, in accordance with the new agreement, rises to some 35 million Euros.
The signing took place at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and also present were the Sporting vice president Jordi Mestre and Director of Football Andoni Zubizarreta.

The youngster exploded onto the scene with a series of impressive performances during the pre-season and was promoted to the senior side as a result. He made his debut for Spain's national team shortly after and has continued working with the Blaugrana senior side in training.
El Haddadi's contract wasn't amended on Tuesday apart from the buyout clause, which now sits at roughly €35 million. As shared by Barcastuff, he is still connected to the club until 2017:

Not much will change for El Haddadi or Barcelona, and if the tricky winger continues his development, the two parties will likely enter discussions regarding a new contract at some point during the 2015-16 season.
But in order to scare other clubs from moving for the starlet during the January window, the buyout clause had to be amended.
It speaks volumes to El Haddadi's commitment to the club that he was willing to change the clause without a significant increase in his wages, and one has to assume the player was at least given guarantees he won't be moving back to Barcelona B anytime soon.
