Athletes Tweet Support for Cam Newton Following Panthers QB's Car Accident

After hearing that Cam Newton was involved in a car accident Tuesday afternoon, many athletes took to Twitter to show their support for the Carolina Panthers quarterback.

Jonathan Jones of The Charlotte Observer broke the news of Newton's accident early Tuesday afternoon. 

As everyone waited to hear word on Newton's condition, many professional athletes sent out their best wishes to him.

Per The Charlotte Observer, Newton did not suffer any life-threatening injuries in the accident.
