Manchester United Striker Robin Van Persie Scores Double Against Southampton

Robin van Persie likes playing against Southampton, and he proved it again on Monday night. 

The Dutch striker made it seven goals in seven Premier League games against the Saints with a double at St Mary's.

He got off the mark in the 12th minute with a cool finish after a terrible mistake by Jose Fonte early in the game. 

However, United's defending was equally inept in the 31st minute, allowing Graziano Pelle to level matters for Southampton.

But Van Persie was not done and gave United the lead against the run of play in the 71st minute.

Van Persie has had his critics this season, but it looks like he is back in form.
