Parra, 27, was traded from the Arizona Diamondbacks to Milwaukee in July and provided a consistent bat for the Brewers. He finished with a .261 batting average, nine home runs and 40 RBI with the two teams.
Along with his plate approach, Parra was named a Gold Glove finalist for his defensive ability last season. Matthew Pouliot of Rotoworld.com offered his take on Parra's worth over the last three seasons:
Despite missing out on the playoffs in 2014, the Brewers still have a wealth of talent to make a run for the postseason. Equipped with bats like Ryan Braun and Carlos Gomez, Milwaukee can make some noise in the NL Central if it gets a solid return for Parra.
A move for the experienced outfielder would mean another new start after being traded last season. After seeing his production dip slightly in 2014, Parra would have a chance to contribute and prove his worth in a new environment.
