Bayern Munich Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of December 8
Bayern Munich continued their march to another successive Bundesliga title on Saturday evening, earning a hard-fought 1-0 win over a stubborn Bayer Leverkusen side led by impressive new coach Roger Schmidt.
Opposite number Pep Guardiola may have hoped for a more convincing win on the night—especially in front of their own fans at the Allianz Arena—but three points is really all he would have desired.
The Bavarian side now turn their attention to the Champions League, with a pointless home game against CSKA Moscow, which will do little but add to the spectacle of their Group E dominance.
Here are all the transfer rumours for the week of December 8

Mario Gotze to Manchester United
1 of 1
According to recent reports in the British media, Bayern star Mario Gotze should expect to find himself the subject of an audacious January transfer bid by Manchester United.
In what can only be described as an incredibly optimistic story from the Daily Star on December 5, United's hierarchy are reportedly desperate to "revolutionise" the Old Trafford squad with exciting new talent from around the world.
Having only just got over his move from Borussia Dortmund, it would apparently take at least £50 million to convince the Bavarian club to part with the World Cup star.
However, it appears Louis van Gaal's side would be willing to make that offer, despite forking out over £150 million in the summer.
We await with bated breath.
