Lorelei Taron, Radamel Falcao's wife, Instagrammed her support for the Manchester United striker after quotes from manager Louis van Gaal suggested the Colombian was only capable of playing about 20 minutes of football a game.
Van Gaal said, per the Daily Express:
He is not fit enough to start a game yet. He needs to play 45, 60 or even 90 minutes in the second team but I haven't been able to do that because I needed him on the bench when James Wilson missed the Hull game and Wayne Rooney was injured for the Stoke game.
I had to adapt to the needs of my squad. I selected him [on the bench] despite the fact that, at the moment, he can only play 20 minutes at that level because the physical intensity in the Premier League is the highest in the world.
Taron responded with a picture of her husband—above—and a quote saying simply that Falcao was "100% prepared to give it all."
Injuries have so far denied fans a chance to see much of Falcao in the Premier League, and he has so far scored just once in the top flight.
