Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, LeGarrette Blount's Post-Week 14 Fantasy Reaction

R. Cory SmithDec 7, 2014

The New England Patriots' offense didn't appear to be firing on all cylinders against the San Diego Chargers, but some of the brightest stars still put up good fantasy numbers in Week 14.

Tom Brady has been erratic throughout the night, but still hooked up with Rob Gronkowski multiple times, with one going for a touchdown. Meanwhile, LeGarrette Blount has been the workhorse back again in San Diego.

On the heels of two straight games with 17 or more points, Brady eclipsed that mark against the Chargers. After of the touchdown pass to Gronkowski, Brady hooked up with Julian Edelman for a fourth-quarter score to save his owners.

Gronkowski remained as steady as any tight end in the league. Brady underthrew him on an interception by Manti Te'o, but they still hooked up to give Gronk owners a huge night in the playoffs.

The Patriots' official account noted just how consistent Gronk has been throughout his career:

Blount has been held out of the end zone, but still posted solid numbers on the ground and passing game. He remains a good flex play, but his production is still unpredictable with the rest of the stable in the backfield.

As for Brady and Gronkowski, no owner needs to be told to start them every week. Facing the Miami Dolphins in Week 15, both should have good performances in the postseason for owners.
