ROH Star Pays Respect to Brock Lesnar, Talks Desire to Compete Against Him
For the past few months, Quinn "Moose" Ojinnaka has made a quick impression in the pro wrestling world. A former football player for the Atlanta Falcons, Moose left the NFL to pursue his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. With the help of Scott D'Amore and Curtis Hughes, Moose began his wrestling career in 2012, and he has made a meteoric rise in his stints with Dragon Gate and Ring of Honor.
In interviewing Moose, I had the opportunity to discover his desire to step in a WWE ring and moreover, his desire to compete against the current WWE world heavyweight champion.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
In asking who his dream opponent would be if he had the opportunity to compete at WrestleMania 31, Moose immediately stated Brock Lesnar. Once asked for his explanation of his choice, he stated, "I've heard people say that he is the best athlete in wrestling. I feel like I am the best athlete in wrestling."
He then described how this could be used as a good angle to set up a match between the two. Since he has a great deal of respect for Lesnar, even jumping on the ring during his entrance to pay homage, Moose explained that it would be a dream come true if this happened, saying, "I think of that quite a bit. I would shed tears the night before. It would be a dream come true."
I asked Moose who should play the babyface and heel in this dream match, and he said that it did not matter. However, I proposed a booking scenario in which Moose would be the rookie coming to dethrone "The Beast." With his rapidly-growing following, coupled with his simple "Moose" chant and gesture, the WWE Universe would have no problem getting behind the near 300-pound agile giant.
This would indeed be a very good match to see. With the power, deceptive speed and agility that Moose has, he would be a tough challenge for the former UFC heavyweight and current WWE world heavyweight champion. Hopefully, the fast-rising star can continue to make a noticeable impression in ROH and step foot in an NXT and eventually WWE ring sooner rather than later.
Moose also talked about what brought him to a pro wrestling career, the "New Day" stable and how he was inspired by Ric Flair and Scott Hall. The full interview can be heard on Pancakes and Powerslams.
