James Walker of ESPN passed along comments from head coach Joe Philbin, who confirmed that Louis Delmas is headed on injured reserve, while the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero provided a potential timetable for his return:

Delmas suffered a knee injury during Week 14's game against Baltimore and was quickly ruled out, according to the Ravens.
Tom Pelissero of USA Today described the scene following Delmas' injury:
Delmas is in his first season with Miami after spending five years with Detroit. Coming into Sunday’s game, he had racked up 58 combined tackles, one sack and one interception that he returned for a touchdown this season.
