David Suffers Head Injury vs. Lions
Sunday, Dec. 7
Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David was taken out of the team's game against Detroit due to a head injury.
According to Roy Cummings of The Tampa Tribune, David was undergoing tests to determine if he has a concussion:
David came into the Week 14 matchup against the Lions as Tampa Bay's leading tackler with 116, including 16 for loss. This is despite missing the last two games due to a hamstring injury.
Given how bad the Buccaneers have been on defense this season, losing their best player for any amount of time will only make things worse.
