Arian Foster, Alfred Blue's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 14

There were vultures in the stadium when the Houston Texans were facing the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. No, there wasn't a bird flying around, but there was Ryan Fitzpatrick and Alfred Blue stealing potential touchdowns from Arian Foster with short scoring runs.

And you can bet more than a few fantasy owners starting Foster in the fantasy playoffs were left moaning and groaning about that.

Foster, to his credit, rushed for more than 100 yards for the seventh time this season and went over 10 points for the eighth time. He also reached the end zone, so he wasn't totally shut out in that regard. But for owners in tight matchups, those two prospective touchdowns likely would have been huge.

No matter. Foster remains a locked-and-loaded RB1 for the duration of the fantasy playoffs so long as he remains healthy. Few players are more consistent, and few players have the upside of Foster. 

As for Blue, well, he really only has value as Foster's handcuff. He might vulture the occasional touchdown, but generally speaking the Houston running game is completely centered around Foster. Blue is worth owning given Foster's injury history but that's about the extent of his value.
