Thomas Injures Ankle in Practice
Demaryius Thomas suffered an ankle injury at Denver Broncos practice Wednesday that forced him to miss Thursday's session ahead of the team's Week 14 clash with the Buffalo Bills.
Troy Renck of The Denver Post reports the injury occurred when the wideout got stepped on. He was in attendance Thursday but didn't partake:
Jeff Legwold of ESPN adds Thomas was sporting an obvious limp. He didn't think the Broncos were overly concerned since they let him out onto the practice field, though:
Ultimately, Thomas' availability for Week 14 was never in any serious danger, which is good because Denver needs as many weapons as possible at Peyton Manning's disposal as it gets ready to face a desperate Bills squad that owns the league's second-ranked scoring defense.
