WWE NXT: Full Preview, Rumors and More for December 4
Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for the Dec. 4 episode of NXT on the WWE Network. Spoilers are already out there, but if you want to know what will happen without having the matches spoiled for you, you're in the right place.
This is the final show before next week's big live special on the WWE Network, which means it's the last chance for the men and women of NXT to pull in any potential viewers.
Because these specials are built up over the course of a few months instead of a few weeks, the feuds feel more developed than some of what we see on the main roster.

But that is next week. There is still Thursday's regular episode of NXT to worry about, and we can expect everyone to bring their A-game as we build toward Takeover: R Evolution.
Let's take a look at what the developmental brand has in store for us this week.
The Women
The ladies of NXT will open the show when Charlotte takes on Mia Yim. If the name Mia Yim doesn't sound familiar, it's because she is not a part of the NXT roster.
If it does sound familiar, then you probably watch TNA because she has appeared on two of its Knockouts pay-per-views.
Considering she is being used on a one-time basis, it's almost guaranteed that Charlotte will pick up the victory. With Takeover: R Evolution coming up next week, it makes sense to give the champion an easy victory this week.
Charlotte will be defending the women's title against Sasha Banks at the live special, but Bayley and Becky Lynch have also been big parts of this program. We may see them get involved both this Thursday and next week.
While it's likely that Yim is just being used an enhancement talent, having a good showing could put her on WWE's radar for the future. NXT is all about building the stars of tomorrow, and someone with Yim's level of experience should not be overlooked.
The Men
Two singles matches will take place involving two men who seemingly started a new feud last week. The first bout will feature Bull Dempsey taking on Elias Sampson, and the second will see Baron Corbin battle Steve Cutler.
Sampson and Cutler are both very low on the roster, so this should be a couple of squash matches to set up a potential showdown between Corbin and Dempsey.
Both of these men are powerful, but that is where their similarities end. With neither man being a clear babyface at the moment, it will be very interesting to see how this feud progresses if booked.
Should they have a match at R Evolution, the winner could be in line for a push. They could both really use it at this point in their careers, but Dempsey seems like the more likely choice to pick up the W.
Corbin is still very new to most fans, but Dempsey has been around for a little while. He already took Mojo Rawley down a notch. It's only a matter of time before he does it to someone else.
While neither of the bouts scheduled for this week look particularly entertaining, the fact that all this could lead to two lesser-known Superstars getting a spot on the next live special makes it worth paying attention.
The Tag Teams
The No. 1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championships, the Vaudevillains, will be facing the team of Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy.
This seems like an easy win for Simon Gotch and Aiden English, but it could go the other way. Murphy and Blake have been getting a lot more time in the ring lately, and since English and Gotch already have their title shot locked down, it wouldn't hurt them to take a loss to two up-and-coming Superstars.
Murphy and Blake have definitely shown signs of promise in their matches with the Lucha Dragons, but they are still little more than a jobber tag team at this point.
Giving them a win over the No. 1 contenders would definitely help their cause for a future title shot and give them some needed momentum.
The final match of the night will be one of those must-see bouts that NXT has been producing lately. Tyler Breeze will team up with Tyson Kidd to take on newcomers Hideo Itami and Finn Balor.
Itami and Balor have been touted as major acquisitions, and they have been booked as big stars since the start. Their popularity from other promotions followed them to NXT, and they are beginning to prove to the WWE Universe why they are considered two of the best in the world.
Kidd and Breeze have proven their worth on numerous occasions. They have teamed up before, so there is already some chemistry between the two young heels.
There isn't much of a feud behind this match, but there doesn't have to be. Whenever you put four highly skilled wrestlers in the ring, magic just tends to happen.
With Itami and Balor being booked on next week's special, it seems like they would be the obvious winners, but there is always the chance some outside factor could lead to a loss.
The Ascension have been relentless while feuding with Itami and Balor, so seeing them pop in to ruin the match wouldn't be a surprise at all.
Regardless, this is one of those encounters that should not be missed and will almost definitely steal the show in a big way.
Next week's live special is an important night for NXT. WWE has only been doing these two-hour shows every three months, so everyone who is set to appear needs to make the most of their time.
This week's show as a whole is hard to judge based on the card, but the main event will definitely make up for any shortcomings in the other matches.
What are you looking forward to on NXT this week, and what are your predictions for Takeover: R Evolution?
