Caroline Wozniacki May Be Dating Washington Redskins LB Ryan Kerrigan

If you’ve been out and about rubbing elbows at D.C.-area soirees in recent weeks (and who hasn’t?) you may have seen Caroline Wozniacki hanging with Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan. 

CSN Washington reports that the two recently attended an auction benefiting a local high school athletic department. The two posed for pictures and spent the majority of the evening “within arms length of one another,” according to the report.

And while I know it’s difficult to keep track of all this romance without running out of space in your Holly Hobbie notebook, it bears reminding that this relationship—if actually a thing—marks an official moving-on from ex-boyfriend Rory McIlroy.

As vigorously reported in May, the 25-year-old golf pro broke up with Wozniacki (then his fiancee) shortly after sending out wedding invitations. McIlroy would go on to immolate the golf world over the course of the summer, winning The Open Championship, the Bridgestone Invitational and the PGA Championship before capping his absurdly dominant season with a Ryder Cup win for the Europeans in September.

Wozniacki experienced some success of her own, winning women’s singles in the Istanbul Cup in July and reaching the U.S. Open final.

I’d say we’d keep tabs on this relationship, but it appears there are plenty of photographers doing that already. We'll just wish her well in her upcoming endeavors in Singapore and wait for her ex to go swimming in Jagermeister.
